Mombasa Municipal Council ‘ town planning committee chairman councilor Rashid Bedzimba has told developers in Kisauni to stop- constructing buildings on road reserves in Kisauni.
The councilor said the council has been forced to bring down over 20 structures built irregularly on areas meant for roads.
Bedzimba was speaking in Kengeleni after attending a meeting with local leaders from the area.
He said the Council was committed to improving accessibility in the area but its efforts are being undermined by errant developers who are keen put up structures on any available piece of land hence hindering access.
