Three men arrested by Administration Police officers last Thursday will appear in court today to answer charges on illegal poaching.
The three were arrested in Kaloleni with 16 kilogrammes of ivory,two leopard hides and another hide belonging to a serval cat.
Assistant KWS director in charge of Coast region Simon Gitau said the officers apprehended the three men and confiscated the trophy together with a motorcycle they were using .
Gitau said last year, KWS officers in Mombasa confiscated a total of 150 kilogrammes of ivory and 70 leopard skins from poachers.
